23 November 2018, digelar ajang penghargaan bagi insan perfilman Korea, Blue Dragon Film Awards ke-39. Bertempat di Grand Peace Palace Universitas Kyung Hee, acara ini dipandu oleh aktris Kim Hye Soo dan aktor Yoo Yeon Seok. Para pemenang di Blue Dragon Film Awards ke-39 terpilih bedasarkan kombinasi survei dari para ahli perfilman dan hasil dari voting online. Film-film yang dapat berpartisipasi di ajang penghargaan ini adalah film yang dirilis antara 12 Oktober 2017 hingga 11 Oktober 2018.
